Dr. Setty knows from personal experience that feeling good in your skin is invaluable to one’s self-esteem and overall happiness. His private practice, Setty Plastics & Aesthetics, offers a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures, from breast and body surgeries to laser skin resurfacing and injectables like BOTOX and Juvederm to help reverse the aging process, repair damage and overall make people look and feel their best.

Dr. Setty was one of the first plastic surgeons in the area to offer FaceTite and BodyTite by InMode, which uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) for skin tightening and fat reduction. He is also often utilized as an expert in the field when it comes to BodyTite and other cutting-edge aesthetics technologies. Dr. Setty is happy to advise fellow surgeons in achieving expert, natural-looking results, as well as assisting manufacturers who request that he provide training to other surgeons.

The Evolution of a Passionate Professional & Setty Plastics & Aesthetics

Dr. Setty was in a car accident when he was 17 years old and suffered serious burns to his arms and face. He was in the Ohio State Burn Center for nearly three weeks as he healed and had his first impactful experience with plastic surgery in the form of multiple skin graft surgeries on his arms and hands. The plastic surgeon’s caring communications and expert skill in treating his burns left an impression on him. The entire experience led Dr. Setty to a strong interest in the field of medicine and specifically surgery. He attended medical school at Ohio State and one fateful day, the plastic surgeon that had cared for him in the burn center gave a lecture on plastic surgery at his campus. Dr. Setty’s passion to help others through this specialty was ignited and he went on to become the trusted and expert plastic surgeon that he is today, now leading a like-minded team at two Setty Plastics & Aesthetics locations.

With a focus on body and breast procedures, Dr. Setty is a leading plastic surgeon in the DFW area for breast augmentations, breast implant revisions, breast reductions, body contouring, fat transfers, Brazilian butt lifts, and more with the vision of an artist and keen sense of fine details. In his MedSpas, Dr. Setty offers laser hair reduction, laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, microneedling, Kybella injections, and much more.

Education

Dr. Setty obtained his undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York, NY where he graduated with honors with distinction. He then went on to Ohio State University in Columbus, OH and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. After diligently completing his residency training in plastic surgery at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, Dr. Setty pursued two fellowships for further specialization. Dr. Setty held two one-year fellowships in hand surgery and plastic surgery at the world-renowned Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the New York University Medical Center in New York, NY.

Making Texas his Home

Dr. Setty and his family moved from the East Coast to Plano, TX in 2008 where he opened his own plastic surgery practice. In 2012, he moved his thriving practice to McKinney, TX and soon expanded to open a second practice in Dallas. When you come to one of his practice locations in Dallas or McKinney, he wants you to feel like part of our family at Setty Plastics & Aesthetics. He understands, on a personal level, how nervous you may be coming in for a consultation for the first time, and has designed his practice and protocols to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Today, Dr. Setty lives with his wife and two sons in Prosper, TX. He loves spending time with his family outdoors, in sports activities, or on the road traveling. Dr. Setty is proud to call the state of Texas his home.
